WAon WAgi invites you to go back in time with a wonderful insight into the traditional culture of Japan.

You'll be treated to a beautiful musical collaboration of traditional Japanese instruments whilst watching the high skills of the Kendama.

With traditional costumes and the sound of a Japanese drum -Wadaiko and the 3 string Banjo - Tsugaru Shamisen and a bamboo flute - Shakuhachi, it's a stunning experience.

With a joyful ending of audience participants joining in WAon WAgi brings a truly unique experience that'll live in your memories forever.

Name: Ito Yusuke

Professional Kendama（Kendama is Japanese traditional toy and very famous in Japanby people of all age）player who began to play Kendama at the age of seven and became a disciple of a Kendama school. He has won the nationwide Kendama Championship ten times in Japan and set two Guinness world records. And He has performed at the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics.

Name: Kohei Matsudaira

Shakuhachi player who has won the grand prize at the National Traditional Japanese Music Competition. 53rd term of NHK Traditional Japanese Music Technicians Training Program completed.

Name:Pierre Ono

He has won many awards at Tsugaru Shamisen National Tournaments.He has been invited by many countries around the world in the past.

Name: Taniguchi Takeyoshi

Wadaiko drummer who combines traditional and digital sounds.

Program 1： Opening

Enjoy a powerful performance by Tsugaru Shamisen, Wadaiko (Japanese drum) and Shakuhachi (bamboo flute).

Program 2：Kendama and Wadaiko (Japanese drums)

To the sound of Wadaiko (Japanese drums), Kendama with long strings, large Kendama, and blindfolded Kendama will fascinate the audience.

Program 3: Audience Participation Kendama Challenge

Several guests will be invited to try Kendama on stage. The audience's success in playing Kendama will bring a lot of excitement to the stage.

Program 4: Sound Match

This is a performance to enjoy an improvised exchange between the "sound" of Kendama and the "sound" of Wadaiko (Japanese drum).

Program 5 Kendama & Japanese instruments

This is a performance in which Kendama is swung, thrown, and held in two different ways to the accompaniment of high-class Japanese musical instruments, enlivening the stage with sound and skill.

Program 6: Japanese instrumental performance "Requested piece

According to the mood of the guests and the venue, we can change the program to folk songs, pop songs, etc. We also accept requests such as "for children" or "for overseas guests”.

Program 7 Kendama Guinness x Japanese musical instruments

This is an arrangement of the Kendama technique "Moshikome," which has set a Guinness World Record, to create a dynamic performance of the normally simple and ordinary “Moshikome.

Program 8: Japanese instrumental performance "End of the song

The finale will be a stirring piece of music that will bring together the members of the Waon Wagi and the audience in harmony.

WAon WAgi邀请您前来观看今晚的演出。今晚的表演您将在观看剑球（一种不分年龄段的日本传统玩具）精湛技艺表演的同时，欣赏到与日本传统乐器的美妙协作。

艺人简介

剑球表演者：Ito

职业剑球表演者，10岁开始喜爱剑球。曾10次获得日本剑球比赛冠军，并创造了两项吉尼斯世界纪录。他也曾非常荣幸受邀参加东京奥运会开幕式表演。

津轻三味弦表演者：Pierre

Pierre在日本全国津轻三味弦锦标赛中拔得头筹，并多次受邀参加世界各国表演。
